Last September 4, there was an almost full moon near the horizon illuminating the clouds from below. I was walking the dog, and stopped to take a picture.
The first try wasn’t very good:
But then I turned “Night Mode” on, and got something much prettier:
And some more as I walked around the neighborhood:
This was on my Google Pixel2 XL camera; I have since replaced it with a Samsung S20. I haven’t been able to test the Samsung in these exact conditions, but it seems to have lots of modes to play with.
