Unpacking progress

Hardly any, but I’m attaching a picture of the current state of the computer room. Faramir refused to pose, although he does spend a fair amount of time in the dog bed. The smaller futon could be unfolded into a guest bed. There would need to be more unpacking or at least serious moving before I could unfold the larger one.

Unpacking progress

The boxes of books went away, so I managed to salvage a little more of the computer room. It’s still not as easy to unpack boxes as I would have expected it to be – the boxes are mostly accessible, but the places I would want to put their contents are still clogged with boxes.

There is a box of jetsom which you’re welcome to look at. Mostly obsolete but possibly still useful technology. Notable item is my mother’s film camera, which was here because she wanted me to take it to a camera store and get it fixed, which I never did.

Unpacking progress

I have finally managed to finish putting together the stereo system, so if we organize a movie night, it will be in 4K and surround sound.

Someone is coming to take away boxes of books and records on Friday, February 16. So if you want to go through and snarf things, you should do it before that.

Linda has kindly offered to come over and help put boxes on the sidewalk on Thursday, February 15. So if anyone else wants to do that, we can do some eating and drinking together afterwards.

Unpacking progress

Someone is coming to take away boxes of books and records on Friday, February 16. So if you want to go through and snarf things, you should do it before that. Also, they want to pick up from the sidewalk or the first floor (I think American terminology), so some help moving boxes downstairs before then would be appreciated.

After that happens, there will be no unpacked boxes on the first floor (European terminology), and I’m hoping to get a lot of the books on the second floor packed up for them as well.
