Schedule
We meet Tuesdays at 7:45 pm, at 233 Broadway, Cambridge, as
long as enough people have told me by Monday night that they want
to come.
A possible exception to the above is November 6, Election Day.
I’ll be working at the polls, and will be unlikely to be able to
participate in the music-makiing part of the evening. But Anne
has offered to open my house up so that other people can meet as
usual. I can probably join for some of the social part of the
evening. The people who were there last Tuesday were divided on
whether they wanted to do that, so if you have a strong opinion
that you’d like and election day meeting, let me know.
Concert
Not our music, but some of the performers are people who also
play our music, and when this group did the Haydn “Creation” last
spring, it was fun.
Grande
Harmonie will be playing Gluck’s
“Alceste” with the Harvard University Choir under the
direction of Edward Jones . The performance will take place in
Harvard’s historic Memorial Church in Harvard Yard, and admission is
free! This will happen on Saturday, October 20 at 7:30 pm.
