My next door neighbor has a 10 year old son, and they were
walking by my door the other day.
The son said, “I can’t wait to be grown up.”
The father asked, “Why’s that?”
The son said, “I want to be able to boss a kid around.”
I don’t think I ever would have put it that way, but I’m pretty
sure that’s exactly the way I felt at his age.
