There’s another Wakefield Summer Band concert, with me on Tuba,
this Friday, July 23, at 7 PM, at the bandstand on the Wakefield town green.

The meeting next week, Tuesday, July 13, will take place in
air-conditioned comfort at Stuart Soloway’s, starting at the
usual time: 7:45 PM. He will be sending
out directions.
After that, we will resume our normal dropin meetings on
Tuesdays at my place.
The Wakefield Summer Band (with Laura Conrad on tuba) will be playing four concerts this
summer, at the bandstand on the Wakefield Common on the shore of
Lake Quannapowitt. The first one will be this Friday, July 9, at
7 PM. Others will be:

starting at 7:45 PM.
The following Tuesday, July 13, I will be out of town, so the
meeting will be at Stuart’s. He’ll send out directions later. If
you want to come to that meeting, it will be good if you let me or
Stuart know by next Tuesday, so that Stuart can take the
appropriate music.
After that, I don’t know any reason to not have our normal
Tuesday dropin meetings at my place for the next few months.

It’s starting to be vacation time — it would help my planning
if people who come regularly would let me know if they know for
sure they aren’t going to be there.
I’m going to be out of town for the July 13 meeting, so we can
either take that week off, or someone else can run and/or host
that meeting.

Tuesdays, beginning at 7:45 PM, at my place.
On Saturday, June 12, John Tyson’s annual student recital will
take place between 9:30 AM and 1 PM at the chapel at First
Congregational Church, Cambridge. It’s a good place to hear
lots of recorder playing, much of it quite good. I’ll be
playing some Renaissance Bicinia with John, and a Pixinguinha
Choros with my sister.
