The new Dowland,
Welcome,
Black Night, has an extended Alto solo with no
accompaniment except the lute. So I transcribed the lute. I think
I’ll be doing more of this, now that I have my cheat sheets with the
ABC names of the strings and the interval names of the letters almost
memorized.
